The Intertwine Alliance is the Portland metro region’s nature coalition, serving as a convener and advocate. We create and implement collaborative strategies, networking, communications and programming to sustain parks & nature funding in the region and to create equitable access to nature. We're at the end of our current 5-year strategic plan. The scope of work below will form the foundation of a new strategic plan that Intertwine Alliance Co-Directors and the Board of Directors will develop in early fiscal year 2024-2025.
An important recent development is the addition of Connecting Canopies to The Intertwine Alliance’s portfolio. Co-Director Theresa Huang will devote 4o to 50 percent of her time to this grassroots, communities of color-led urban tree canopy and workforce development initiative.
