What does it mean to live UPRIVER? How can we inspire students to "live UPRIVER?" Come spend a weekend at Oregon Hatchery Research Center to learn how to use the multimedia, engaging inquiry-based UPRIVER Story Map curriculum.

Where: Oregon Hatchery Research Center, Alsea, OR
Why: To meet curricular goals by investigating watersheds from multiple perspectives using a media-rich, place-based, interdisciplinary curriculum. The curriculum is based on the Oregon film, “UPRIVER: A Film for the Willamette.” The watershed issues explored in the film are universal, and the inquiry process used to investigate them empowers students to take action.
What’s Included: Housing for one night, meals, two days of instruction and practice, networking with other educators, a paper copy and electronic access to the UPRIVER Story Map curriculum, student VoiceThread licenses for one year, educator stipend and follow up support.
