The third year of the Equity & Inclusion Cohorts supported 22 organizations along their paths toward equity, by increasing peer learning through a cohort model and by connecting participants to training resources.
We offered three cohorts:
Awareness Raising developed a meaningful and science-based understanding of the fundamentals of diversity, equity and inclusion, with an emphasis on antiracist theory and actions.
Change Agent focused on moving from awareness to action by advancing language, skill sets and DEI toolkits, so that we can push through personal, organizational and systemic barriers to achieve more inclusive teams, organizations and coalitions.
Implementation Peer Group focused on supporting leaders through barriers in integrating DEI into organizational culture, policies, practices and programming.
The cohort program was a joint effort of all the trainers and providers: Derron Coles and Lauren Gottfredson (DRC Learning Solutions) and Sara Curiel Paez and Alexis Millett (Capacity Building Partnerships). The program is made possible by The Intertwine Alliance with the support of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Collins Foundation and the Oregon Community Foundation.
