The Intertwine Alliance is the Portland metro region’s nature coalition, serving as a convener and advocate. The Alliance creates and implements collaborative strategies, networking, communications and programming to sustain parks and nature funding in the region and to create equitable access to nature.
The Intertwine Alliance is at the end of its current 5-year strategic plan. The scope of work below will form the foundation of a new strategic plan that Intertwine Alliance Co-Directors and Board of Directors will develop in early fiscal year 2024-2025.
An important recent development is the addition of Connecting Canopies to The Intertwine Alliance’s portfolio. Co-Director Theresa Huang will devote 4o to 50 percent of her time to her work on this grassroots, communities of color-led urban tree canopy and workforce development initiative.
