Our work to create a climate-resilient watershed is not possible without our volunteers. We recognize that not everyone has equal access to the Tualatin River, so these trainings are part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion regardless of skill level or access.
Tualatin Riverkeepers hosts our volunteer orientation and training to introduce new community members to our program and what it means to be Riverkeepers. You will be introduced to Tualatin Riverkeepers' program, the Tualatin River, and the various roles that volunteers can perform. Our volunteers serve as ambassadors to our mission to protect, restore, and enjoy the Tualatin River, so we want to give you the skills necessary to effectively care for the Tualatin River watershed, regardless of volunteer role or skill level. Once you've attended volunteer orientation, you can find your place at Tualatin Riverkeepers and volunteer in a role that most excites you!
