Join us for a free uniquely immersive, audience-engaged program which includes Living on a Dollar a Day, a gallery exhibit from Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Renee Byer; a virtual reality experience that allows viewers to the see the world through the eyes of a teenage Syrian girl living in a UN refugee camp; a program of speakers including Yashar Vasef, President, United Nations Association of Portland, Grace Wong, national adviser for the UN Foundation's Girl Up campaign, Jana Mason, Senior Advisor, U.S. Government and External Relations with the UN refugee agency (UNHCR); and closing with an audience-engaged discussion sponsored by Oregon Humanities' Conversation Project.
