Join Urban Forestry for a special community tree planting along Nicholson Road in the Bagley Downs neighborhood. Tree-lined streets make the space more usable by pedestrians on hot summer days, reduce run-off of pollutants into our streams, and even have been shown to reduce crime. Learn how to plant a tree while getting to know your neighbors and greening your community. No experience necessary. Urban Forestry will provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools, and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!

Please meet prior to 10 a.m. at approximately 4600 Nicholson Road, along the north side of Bagley Park.

Youth under 18 must bring a signed minor consent form.

Accessible by the Vine and Bus Lines 30 and 39. For more directions, visit C-Tran.com
