Help us mulch hundreds of native trees and shrubs at the woodsy and magical Clatsop Butte. This work will help provide habitat for wildlife, increase water quality, and prevent erosion in our watershed. Tools, snacks, and FUN provided. Added bonus: beautiful viewpoints of the city below!

Our Tree Care events help to ensure the highest level of plant survival through our dry summer months; these hundreds of native trees and shrubs were planted this past winter. This project is in partnership with Friends of Trees and Portland Parks & Recreation and is supported by the East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District and Metro.

Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. Breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance, are all provided. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun!

RSVP with Courtney: courtney@jcwc.org. We look forward to seeing you out there!

This planting is generously sponsored by PGE
