In late winter and early spring, many edible greens begin to emerge. Let's celebrate these plants by learning about them, including how to encourage their growth, what roles they play in ecology, how to process and prepare them, what nutritional value they bring, and of course how to eat them! Come to learn and share what you know. Find us at Kelley Point Park at Picnic Area F; from the furthest parking lot, follow the bike path to just past the bathrooms on the Columbia River side.

Rewild Portland’s Free Skills Series is a family-friendly class and community event that happens monthly, usually (but not always) occurring on the last Saturday of the month. It is a place to meet new people and hang out with old friends while learning skills that connect us with humanity’s ancestral past and more local and sustainable future. We are proud to be sponsored by Portland Parks & Recreation’s Environmental Education division.
