Come pull some ivy and learn how to weave a quick little basket. No experience necessary! This is a great one to work on with children. Bring some garden shears and thick leather gloves.

This event happens in tandem with Portland Parks & Recreation’s No Ivy Day. Space is limited. To ensure your spot, please register as a volunteer for the “Marquam Nature Park event” using the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/no-ivy-day-volunteer-registration-2017-tick...

The Free Skills Series is a family-friendly class and networking event that happens monthly, usually (but not always) occurring on the last Saturday of the month. It is a place to meet new people and hang out with old friends while learning skills that connect us with humanity’s ancestral past and more local and sustainable future.

Suggested donation: $10–20, with no one turned away.
