Come help put the final touches on a huge and hugely successful instream restoration project. In 2016, SRWC removed part of the levee and installed large log jams to reduce flood and erosion pressure, and create fish habitat. All the site needs now is a few more native trees and fewer scotch broom. Join us! We will meet at the Timberline Rim Recreation Center (please see special directions for finding it) and consolidate into as few vehicles as possible to carpool to the project site on Hiawatha Rd. a mile away, so please come prepared to drive or join a short carpool. The site is right next to the river and new side channel. Waterproof boots and rain gear are recommended. Bring a water bottle. Gloves and tools provided. No experience necessary.

NOTE: Google Maps will get you to the Timberline Rim Community, but not to the Recreation Center. The Rec Center is at the intersection of Mountain Meadow and Sandy River Lanes, by the tennis courts.
