Calling all tree-planters to the sixth annual Rock Creek Partnership Watershed Wide Event! Make a difference planting native trees and shrubs along Rock Creek in Happy Valley, OR. Breakfast snacks, coffee/hot chocolate, and live music round out this fun of this annual event!
Please arrive at 8:30am at Happy Valley City Hall where you will watch a shuttle to the Pendarvis Farm. You'll be greeted at the farm's "Galaxy Barn" with hot coffee/hot chocolate, breakfast snacks, and live music. Gloves, tools and expert guidance are also provided. We'll shuttle to three nearby sites where we'll plant a wide diversity of native trees and shrubs. The planting will end around 12:00pm when we'll catch the shuttle for the short trip back to City Hall.
Gloves, tools, and guidance provided (as well as a variety of breakfast snacks and coffee/hot chocolate!). Volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toe sturdy shoes or boots (rubber boots are perfect). We recommend a rain jacket and warm layers that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
Groups are welome too! Please simply let us know so we can save your group enough space.
