Online ordering with Sparrowhawk Native Plants starts Sun, Aug 20!

This fall, we’re teaming up with Friends of Tualatin Hills Nature Park, Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, Neighborhood House, Westside Watershed Resource Center, Arbor Lodge Tree Team, Brentwood Darlington Neighborhood Association, Black Futures Farm, and Multnomah County Master Gardeners’ Demonstration Garden. By our powers combined, about 40,000 native plants will take root and up to $20,000 will go back to these inspiring community partners.

Our planet, our communities and all of the feathered, furry, scaly, slimy, shimmery, shiny and spiny creatures with whom we share space need bio-diverse and climate-resilient landscapes now more than ever before. Let’s rebuild the landscape of the future together.

How it Works

  1. Order Plants Online between Aug 20 - Sept 17 (or until we sell out): Browse profiles of 115 native plant species. Filter by sun, moisture, and more to find the right plants for the right places in your yard. Species do sell out; so the earlier you order, the broader selection you will have. At checkout, select your pick-up location, date and time.
  2. Pick-up Pre-ordered Plants in October at a Pop-up Near You: We'll look forward to seeing you at one of the four large, outdoor pop-up locations in October; Beaverton on Oct 6/7 (hosted by and benefiting Friends of Tualatin Hills Nature Park), SW Portland on Oct 13/14 (hosted by and benefiting Neighborhood House and Westside Watershed Resource Center), North Portland on Oct 20/21 (hosted by and benefiting Arbor Lodge Tree Team) and SE Portland on Oct 27/28 (hosted by and benefiting Brentwood Darlington Neighborhood Association, Black Futures Farm, and Multnomah County Master Gardeners’ Demonstration Garden)
  3. Plants for the Planet - Proceeds for the Community: Sink your hands in the dirt and feel good! Your new native plants will support birds, bees, and butterflies in your neighborhood, plus proceeds support the community partner hosting each pop-up event.

Registration

Online ordering starts at 9am on Sun, Aug 20 and goes through Sun, Sept 17 (or until we sell out)
