Join Friends of Trees to Plant Trees & Shrubs at Powell Butte Natural Area - Jan 28th!

Join us on the south side of Powell Butte Natural Area along the Johnson Creek floodplain to give hundreds of native trees and shrubs a new home! This planting is in partnership with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council and Portland Parks & Recreation with support from East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District and Metro.


Please arrive by 8:45am at the site below to be assigned a crew and enjoy plenty of free breakfast treats and hot coffee/tea. Planting begins at 9am with a safety demonstration and concludes by 1pm.


Location: 5465 SE Circle Ave., Portland, OR 97236

Time: 8:45am-1pm (breakfast treats, work gloves, tools, and guidance provided)

Registration

Interested in bringing a group to volunteer? We encourage planting groups to pre-register and ensure they are assigned to the same planting crew. Groups smaller than 5 and individuals do not need to pre-register.
