To kick-off this new monthly series, we'll come together (virtually) to talk about implementation of Metro's 2019 parks & nature bond. Three Intertwine Alliance partners sit on the oversight committee for these nature investments:
--Owen Wozniak, Intertwine Alliance Board President and Land Trust Alliance
--Nicole Johnson, 1000 Friends of Oregon
--Georgena Moran, Access Recreation
All three will attend the coffee to share insights and answer questions. We've heard from many of you about your interest in ongoing engagement as a coalition about the Metro investments. Here's a great chance to further this work. Please join us to share:
--how you want to see The Intertwine Alliance show up on the oversight committee
--your priorities for regional nature investments
--any resources you need in order to more fully engage
--anything else on your minds!
The purpose of this series is to create informal space for Intertwine Alliance partners to build connections and consensus around our work as a coalition. We'll change up the day/time each month so as to accommodate a maximum number of schedules. Sometimes we'll gather around a specific topic, other times will be a more free-form chance to share. The first two will be virtual, but we hope to meet in person soon, too.
