Metro’s current bond measure to support funding for affordable housing in our communities is a key moment for our region. The Intertwine Alliance invites its partner organizations to an important gathering, “Housing and Habitat: Mobilizing the Parks and Nature Community for the Affordable Housing Bond and Beyond," on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the ENSO Urban Winery in Southeast Portland.
The objectives of this convening are to learn more about the housing measure on the ballot this November and the ways that we in the conservation/recreation sector can get involved. Leaders from JOIN, the Welcome Home Coalition and the Yes for Affordable Housing Campaign will be there to share information, as will various Intertwine Alliance partners who will discuss their interest in this effort and how it can impact the future success of all partners' work.
Please RSVP so we'll have an idea of the number of participants; snacks and drinks will be provided.
