Learn about Columbia Springs through a historical perspective and how changes over time have impacted this unique site. Our instructor, Cliff Anderson, has been volunteering for Columbia Springs for about 10 years and is a life-long learner. The field trip will include a presentation on major historical events in this area, a discussion of a few native plants found on site and how the past influences Columbia Springs today. This course will also include an opportunity to feed the fish and a nature walk on earthen trails. After the field trip, you are welcome to bring your own lunch and join our presenter for an informal Q & A session.
