Let's make a difference. Together! Join Friends of Trees on April 14th to plant street & yard trees in the Gresham neighborhood of Rockwood. Friends of Trees believes in the power of bringing communities together through the fun and simple act of planting trees. Our events are great for individuals and groups and do not require any previous planting experience--gloves, tools, and Crew Leaders to help are all provided!

Please arrive to the staging site by 8:45am to enjoy some breakfast treats and hot coffee/tea/chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots. Our neighborhood volunteers will also provide a potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting is complete.

Have a pickup truck? We need your help getting the baby trees to their planting sites a few blocks away from the staging site. Please sign up at www.friendsoftrees.org/truck if you're able to help us out in this key role.

Are you under age 18 and planting without your parent/guardian? A signed youth waiver is required for you to volunteer. We kindly request youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Please contact Jenny & Pablo at (503) 595-0213 if you have questions or need any further information.

We look forward to seeing you out there!
