Join us in our final large work party as our 3-Year Metro Nature in the Neighborhoods Grant cycle comes to a close. During this grant cycle, we’ve planted thousands of trees and native plants in an effort to restore River Run Park an important natural area adjacent to the Tualatin River. During this event, we will finish the work we started by mulching hundreds of native trees and shrubs to help ensure the highest level of plant survival through Oregon’s dry summer months. Come see the dramatic progress volunteers have made, and learn about native habitat restoration.
Please arrive at 8:45, work will start promptly at 9:00. Groups of 5 or more, please register at https://friendsoftrees.org/volunteering/group-registration. Groups of 4 or fewer, just show up! For more information, please visit https://friendsoftrees.org/event/river-run-park-tree-care-lake-oswego/
