We'll be planting large (6-12' tall) neighborhood trees in Rockwood and Wilkes East, as well as planting small native trees and shrubs at Nadaka Nature Park, which serves as the staging ground for this event. RSVPs kindly requested: https://friendsoftrees.org/event-calendar/
Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots – and be ready to have fun!
Under age 18? A signed youth waiver (https://friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver) is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
