Your help is needed to plant hundreds of native trees and shrubs at this popular gem-of-a-park in Portland/Gresham's East County community! In addition to planting, we'll be removing weedy introduced plants so the trees have the best chance of establishing. Nadaka Park is a 12-acre park that serves the diverse residents of the area with a community garden, natural play area, and picnic shelter. This is an excellent opportunity for planters of all ages to join! Gender-neutral restrooms are available at this location.

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!

*If you, or someone you are volunteering with, needs any special accommodations to make your day more successful, please contact the Volunteer team prior to the event.
