Song birds love the Pacific Northwest lowlands for the mild winters. We have many more species in winter than similar forests in colder parts of the country. This class focuses on how to identify our common species and how they survive the winter season. After an indoor presentation we investigate coniferous and deciduous forests at local parks to see what we can find.
