Forest bathing is a nature connection experience inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku. These offerings will offer you the opportunity to slow down, explore your inherent and deep connections to the natural world, and access the Earth’s nourishment that is always available. Misako will guide you in various nature connection practices and teach you the foundations of the ancient, life sustaining practice of Qigong (pronounced "chee gong" ). You will be invited to wander, be curious, and open to your childlike wonder and playfulness.

About the facilitator:

Misako Yamamoto (she/her) is a Japanese-American healer trained in the 4 foundations of Traditional East Asian Medicine: Acupuncture, plant/spirit medicine, body work and Qigong.

As a lifelong athlete, she remains firmly rooted in her physical and emotional body through movement and a deep connection to the Earth. She believes regular physical activity and internal cultivation are critical in the transformation of DIS-ease.

In clinical practice for nearly 20 years, Misako specializes in spirit & emotion-based imbalances working with women of color.
