Make history with the Highland Neighborhood Association Committee in planting and mulching 20 large-form coniferous trees around the campus to add biodiversity to the namesake of the school, setting up the neighborhood to be more resilient in the face of accelerating climate disruption. Tools, gloves, training, leadership, and light mid-day refreshments will be provided. Arrive dressed for the weather wearing closed-toe shoes and attire that can get dirty. Volunteers will meet underneath the covered area in front of the school. In partnership with Beaverton School District, City of Beaverton, and New Seasons.
