What do a salmon scale and a tree ring have in common? What bugs live in our wetland? Explore these questions and more at Columbia Springs’ Family Nature Days! Start at our Visitor Center for maps, information and activities, then choose your own adventure around our site from there!

Games and activities will be happening around Heron Loop Trail. Guided Walks will introduce our site's history, flora and fauna, and educational programs. Scavenger hunts will encourage you to look closer as you explore. What else will we have in store? Join us on the Last Saturday of every month to find out! $5/person suggested donation. Explore. Experience. Learn.

Columbia Springs, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, is a 100-acre natural area with two miles of hiking trails, a leader in environmental education, and home of the historic Vancouver Trout Hatchery. We offer a unique setting and educational experiences that foster a greater awareness of the natural world and inspire stewardship.
