It’s chum salmon season! On Saturday, December 6th, welcome our returning salmon home in this family-friendly event hosted by the Wood & Gordon families.



When: December 6th, 2:00-4:00pm (drop in when it works for you! We’ll feature a couple of speakers at 3:00pm)



Where: Wood's Landing SE Riverwood Ln, Vancouver WA



What: Learn about chum salmon and observe the spawning chum salmon at Wood's Landing! 



Why: Celebrate the return of the chum salmon! 



How: Park and meet us in the Columbia Springs parking lot at 2:00pm to walk as a group to the spawning site. OR park along Old Evergreen Highway at Riverwood Drive (at least 10 feet away from the train tracks) and walk in on your own! Please contact us at kristine@columbiasprings.org if you are in need of parking accommodations closer to the event.



We recommend that you bring polarized sunglasses and binoculars to maximize your viewing experience. Be sure to dress for the weather as this event is rain or shine.
