Regional Conservation Strategy

Directly contribute to positive change in our neighborhoods! Tree planting brings neighbors together to weave stronger and more resilient communities. Join Friends of Trees and the City of Vancouver as we leave a legacy of 100 trees in Central Vancouver to be enjoyed for years to come.

Friends of Trees will be planting in these neighborhoods: Bagley Downs, Burton Ridge, Dubois Park, Ellsworth Springs, Evergreen Highlands, Father Blanchet Park, Forest Ridge, Marrion, Meadow Homes, North Garrison Heights, Northcrest, Northwood, Oakbrook, Ogden, Old Evergreen Highway, Riverview, Southcliff, Van Mall, Van Mall North, & Vancouver Heights.

Please arrive to the staging site by 8:45am to enjoy breakfast treats and hot coffee or chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. Friends of Trees provides gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots. Our neighborhood volunteers will also provide a potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting is complete!

Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people (http://www.friendsoftrees.org/groups). RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer -- you can simply show up!

Please contact AmeriCorps volunteer Reggie at (360) 487-8324 if you have any questions or need more information.

We look forward to planting with you!
