Join neighbors and community members as we restore and maintain our local natural area.

English Ivy is Class C Noxious Weed in Washington. It threatens trees, understory plants, and wildlife. Learn how to identify and control this invasive plant and help stop the spread in this small stand of preserved forest. Get to know like-minded community members, enjoy the outdoors, and make a positive impact on our environment.

This is a family-friendly event and all ages and abilities are welcome. The work will take place on unpaved surfaces. Tools, gloves, training, water, and snacks will be provided. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Youth under 18 must bring a signed minor consent form. There will be extra forms available on-site for guardians to sign.

Questions? Contact cityvolunteer@cityofvancouver.us or call 360-487-8315. Keep an eye on our volunteer calendar for more volunteer opportunities.
