You're invited to help JCWC document the distribution of beaver activity in the Johnson Creek watershed with our third year of Beaver Surveys! Orientation will cover beaver ecology, survey methods, and volunteer protocol.
No experience is required, but registration is.
What: Beaver Surveyor sign-up/orientation, and survey to follow in mid to late August

Where: JCWC offices located at All-Saint Episcopal Parish Hall at 4033 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202
When: Orientation: Thursday, August 9th, 5:45-8:30pm.
Survey dates: (Pick one) 8/11, 8/18, 8/25-26
Why: To document the distribution of beaver, which tells us about how these ecosystem engineers behave in an urban habitat with limited resources.
