Let's plant trees together in SE Portland! We're hoping to plant more than 150 large-stock trees across several SE Porland neighborhoods, and need more hands to help make this planting a success!

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast snacks and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance. We ask that all volunteers dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes/boots you don't mind getting dirty, and be ready to have fun! Neighborhood volunteers provide a potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting is complete, it's a small way we can say "thank you" for your hard work. All-gender restrooms are available at this event.

How do I register? Click on this event from our online calendar, and then fill out the quick registration form.  Individuals and groups welcome! Please know that groups larger than 4-5 people will be split onto multiple planting crews at this event.

Have a pickup truck? We need your help getting these young trees to their planting sites a few blocks away from the central staging site. Please sign up at www.friendsoftrees.org/truck if you're able to help us out in this key role.

This event will have a bike crew! Want to join the team planting trees by bike? Sign up at www.friendsoftrees.org/bike. Bikers with trailers and cargo bikes are awesome but anyone with a bike is welcome to take part!

Under age 18? A signed youth waiver is required for you to volunteer: www.friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver We kindly request youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at 503-595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you out there!
