We have a work day the third Saturday of each month, rain or shine. The work will vary, from planting native plants, to removing invasives, to building brush pile habitats, and more. Come dressed for the weather, including a hat as it can be quite breezy on the refuge. If you have hiking boots you should wear them, but tennis shoes will work OK. Bring your work gloves and water bottle. A small pack is also a good idea. We will provide all the tools and materials.

Meet at the new Gibbons Creek Wildlife Trail parking lot: map

The parking lot is located south of Highway 14, just east of Washougal, about 600 feet east of the "Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area" sign. Since we must travel through a locked gate, it is important to be at the meeting location on time.

We will travel through the gate(s) as a group, and once we pass through, the gate will be locked, so if you arrive late you will be locked out. Thus it is good to plan to arrive a little early.
