Go behind the vines and join Tualatin Riverkeepers and Willamette Valley Vineyards as we experience the ins and outs of sustainable agriculture in the Tualatin River watershed firsthand. In this first event in a new series promoting leaders in agricultural sustainability, hear from viticulturist Clay Wesson how best practices are applied at the vineyard and learn what it means to make a commitment to sustainable standards. We will explore various biodynamic farming practices that optimize water use, maintain biodiversity in habitats, and hear the stories behind the wine production process as it relates to sustainability.
Your $60 registration includes a tour of the vineyard estate with Clay, lunch, wine tasting, and the opportunity to purchase wine. Transportation is included, so come join us for a fun and educational day exploring a local watershed business while supporting Tualatin Riverkeepers!
