Friends of Trees--in partnership with Clean Water Services--is working to restore the Churchill Forest natural area and we need your help! Join us on April 1st to transform a neglected vegetated corridor to a diverse and healthy riparian forest and ephemeral wetland. This project will help to protect the uppermost section of the watershed by planting a wide variety of native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants.
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The planting will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!
