Bring your little one out for a fun and interactive morning walk to explore the forested trails at Hoyt Arboretum. This Tree Time! walk will investigate the difference between living and nonliving elements in the forest and introduce ideas about the role they each play in the environment.
Tree Time! walks introduce youth to the beauty and wonder of nature at Hoyt Arboretum. Each week has a different theme to encourage hands-on exploration of plants, streams, bugs, and wildlife. Walks are geared for children ages 2-6 and led by a volunteer Arboretum Naturalist, who will read a story and end with a craft to take home. Meet in front of the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center dressed for the weather. Walks are held rain or shine!
