We have a fantastic habitat restoration event coming up next Saturday, December 16th at Errol Heights Park! This event is a collaboration with Portland Parks and Recreation and Friends of Errol Heights, and it is extra special because it occurs around one of the important cold-water springs in Johnson Creek. That means that it helps provide habitat for salmon and other freshwater species. During this time of year, it is also common to see waterfowl and other wildlife in the park.
Come take a bird walk with naturalist and bird enthusiast Mark Fitzsimons and birding instructor for Audubon Society of Portland Laura Whittemore, then help make Errol Heights a better habitat for wildlife!
