Seize the day - and the trees! - by volunteering at Parke Diem at Hoyt Arboretum. Join other tree enthusiasts for two days of trail work, re-potting plants, invasive species removal, weeding, mulching and more to prepare the arboretum for the winter season. Volunteers should come dressed for the weather and be prepared to get dirty in a pair of long pants and sturdy, closed toe shoes. Training, tools and gloves are provided; no previous experience is necessary. This is a family-friendly volunteer opportunity. Volunteer for one or both days. Registration is required.
