For more than a decade, local historian Lois Leonard dedicated her time and effort to producing and directing this documentary on the life of David Douglas, the scientist credited with reforesting Scotland from seeds he collected in the Pacific Northwest. Her critically acclaimed film focuses on David Douglas's contributions to science—forestry, botany, and horticulture.
