Choose your own nature adventure at Family Nature Fest, a celebration of Clark County’s natural treasures! Play games, like slug racing, and win prizes. Meet reptiles and amphibians. Build an exploding volcano. Forage for fungi on a guided hike. Crafts, activities, games, guided walks, and hands-on presentations will showcase the cool, creepy, and crawly world to be found in our own backyards.
This year’s activity hosts include: Clark County Historical Museum, Columbia Gorge Refuge Stewards, Master Composter/Recyclers, Mount St. Helens Institute, Oregon Zoo, Stream Team, and Waste Connections, the Franz Grilled Cheese Machine, and an AMR ambulance that you can tour. Also back by popular demand: a few dozen pumpkins will be hidden along our Heron Loop trail; limit one per child.
Family Nature Fest is fun for all ages, and is free! A $5 suggested donation per child helps us continue this fall tradition. This year’s event is supported by The Vancouver Clinic and iQ Credit Union.
