How can you talk to family, friends and neighbors about Climate Change?
Join us at Columbia Springs to learn how to have an informed, cordial and positive conversation around your Thanksgiving table (or anywhere else)! Our three-part series, lead by educators and climate change activists Grace Teigen and Gene Wigglesworth, will refresh you on the science and history of this complex subject. You’ll discover exciting and innovative technologies to combat this challenge and get a good grasp of not only the looming danger but also the many positive signs that overcoming predictions of doom is possible. You will practice effective ways to confront a controversial issue and even be introduced to the art and music that surrounds a growing movement.
You will come away feeling competent and empowered with techniques for comfortably sharing information and more that 100 ideas of what you and others can do.
Workshop Information
There is a $15/person fee for this class which includes a light meal at each class. There are no refunds for this class.
Registration is limited to 25 people.
Class meets Wednesday evenings, October 23rd, October 30th, November 6th, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Please plan on attending all three sessions.
